The RCT (Regimental Combat Team) is created by augmenting a regular infantry regiment with smaller artillery, combat engineer, mechanized cavalry reconnaissance, signal, air defense, quartermaster, military policy, medical and other support units to enable it to be a self-supporting organization in combat.
